About
Linda C. Jones, MA, CCC-SLP
Owner, Speech Language Pathologist
Through my education and experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP ) of the past 18+ years, I have seen and treated individuals in various settings such as university and private practice clinics, specialized and public schools, contracting with private schools, medically based outpatient clinics, skilled nursing, and home health (both early intervention and homebound adults).
I am a member of the American Speech & Hearing Association (ASHA) and am committed to adhering to the SLP Scope of Practice:
“ …the breadth of the role of the SLP in the prevention, assessment, and habilitation/rehabilitation of communication and swallowing disorders and the enhancement and scientific investigation of those functions. The framework consists of two components: health conditions’ (body functions and structures) ‘and contextual factors” (environmental factors and personal factors).
I earned my bachelor's degree at the University of St Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, and my master's degree in Speech & Hearing Science from The George Washington University in Washington, DC.
I also hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), a Wisconsin Speech-Language Pathology professional license, through the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS), and a Provisional Teacher License from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI).

Our experience with Linda was transformative for our family.
It was our first experience with any sort of pediatric therapist and she helped us navigate not only the speech delay but also shifting our parenting expectations from what we thought we should do to what we needed to do for our son. She did this by being a listening ear and making simple suggestions and, most importantly, she cared deeply about our son’s progress.
We highly recommend her.

We are incredibly grateful for the support and guidance that Linda provided for our daughter, Tabitha, when she entered the birth-3 program at about 9 months old. From the very first session, Linda's warmth, patience, and genuine care for children was evident. Tabitha, who was struggling to meet early verbal communication milestones, quickly progressed, making remarkable progress in just a few months.
Linda created a fun, engaging, and comfortable environment where Tabitha felt at ease. She tailored each session to meet Tabitha's unique needs, using creative techniques that made learning feel like play. One of the things that I appreciated most about Linda was her ability to not only connect with Tabitha but also involve me as a parent, providing valuable insights and exercises to continue progress outside of sessions. In addition to this, she found ways to involve Tabitha's twin sister, nurturing their connection and bond.
Thanks to Linda, I saw a transformation that positively impacted Tabitha's speech and social interactions. I wholeheartedly recommend Linda to any parent seeking speech therapy for their child.
